The way that we perceive flavour in food is very complex. Hear from 3 professionals working to change the lives of people with taste and smell loss and experience how your own senses can be changed and challenged, learn ways to support clients to enjoy eating again.
This interactive demonstration looks at the science and social science behind ‘multi-modal’ flavour perception and the importance of different sensory elements including taste, smell, sound, touch and texture.
Discover if you are a ‘supertaster’, have an accute sense of smell and even raise a glass to help us celebrate with the complimentary sensory box.
This will be a FREE online event with a twist, to celebrate 25 years of BABICM supporting case management in the UK and will be followed by a short AGM.
Open to BABICM members only, limited places are available on a first come first served basis.
