Case Managing with Curiosity & Creativity: Planning The Best Personalised Care (SOLD OUT)

‘Case Managing with Curiosity & Creativity: Planning The Best Personalised Care’ training event will inspire brain injury case managers and other professionals looking for creative and innovative options to achieve excellent care and support outcomes for clients with complex needs and disabilities.

This is an essential event for all case managers and professionals working to ensure people with brain injury and other complex health conditions have opportunities, choices and possibilities in their daily lives.

What to expect:

  • Recent research on the breadth of knowledge a case manager requires for responding to clients’ care needs and understanding what a stable and effective care arrangement affords to our clients in terms of participation and opportunity in daily life.
  • Practical information about care solutions/options and the importance of the therapeutic element to care provision.
  • Exploring the case manager role in selecting least restrictive care options and the ongoing management of a private care team.
  • The costs of a private personalised care arrangement and the perspectives of a deputy and statutory care advisor.
  • How professional curiosity gives case mangers the skill to explore and understand our clients and their families’ situations; what are the components of professional curiosity, factors that inhibit it, and respectful uncertainty.
  • Exploration of the support worker role – rehab’s hidden glue!
