Brain/Spinal Injury Case Manager

As an experienced clinician, are you looking to influence and manage the rehabilitation of seriously and moderately injured people through case management?

Rehab Associates Ltd provide a service to injured people, to solicitors and to insurance companies. We specialise in catastrophic and serious injury cases including brain and spinal injuries, and receive referrals from the injured person or by instruction from the Claimant or Defendant representative.  We focus on person centred work, putting the client at the heart of what we do.

Due to our success at supporting the legal sector we are looking to expand with our rehabilitation services for injured clients as well as our case management services.  We are therefore looking for qualified clinicians including registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists with a clinical background in catastrophic, moderate and serious injury such as brain injury, poly-trauma, amputation, Cerebral Palsy.

This will be a remote working role with associated travel to see clients and to fulfil business need in the North West area.


About the Role of Case Manager

Rehab Associates Ltd focus on proactive rehabilitation and focused outcomes clear assessments and solution focused implementation of rehabilitation recommendations. Our case management service offers a choice of assessment options that are driven to guide people through their rehabilitation to return them to the position they were in prior to their injuries, or as close as is possible.

As a case manager you will be commissioning approved services from statutory, voluntary and private sectors, with a clear focus on returning the client to their pre-incident function.

You will need to be a very organised individual with clear and effective case management abilities. You will work under the Rehabilitation Code, alongside the legal and insurance teams involved with the client.

With a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, ideally applicants will have community based experience of establishing or implementing rehabilitation packages.

Applications from experienced professionals already working as case managers within the field would be welcome.

The role is offered on a self-employed basis.  Working from your home, you would manage a client caseload working your hours flexibly and to meet client needs.  On joining Rehab Associates Ltd you will receive a comprehensive induction and thereafter will have regular, ongoing training, guidance and support.  Your work as a Case Manager continues to contribute towards maintaining your clinical professional registration requirements.

 

A competitive salary is offered for the position.

This role requires current, clinical registration with an appropriate clinical governing body (i.e. HCPC, NMC, SWE).
