  • To acquire a tool box of strategies that you can implement to optimise your wellbeing
  • To better understand challenges to your well being and how to manage them
  • To recognise burnout and be able to prevent it

This event will cover the following BABICM Competencies.

  • personal attributes

Part 1 – Thursday 16th September 2021 at 11am-12pm (60 mins)

Mastering Self-Care & Self-Compassion to Combat Burnout

Laura Jessica – Independent Mindcoach

Laura has some really simple techniques you can do which will make all the difference when it comes to avoiding burnout.

Is guilt, annoyance and frustration are present in your life?

Have you have had enough of riding the rollercoaster of stress and want to start calling the shots when it comes to your emotions, then this session is for you.

Laura will talk about::

  • Her story of burnout leading to breakdown “I thought it would never happen to me- after all I’m a mental health professional!”
  • Understanding why health professionals often justify stress as normal and why it is not.
  • How to move from talking the talk to walking the walk when it comes to self-care
  • How to create your own little bubble of calm that no one can take away from you
  • Tips and tricks to make it all easier from today.

Part 2 – Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 11am-12.30pm (90 mins)

“The Way of the Productivity Ninja”

Lee CottierProductivity Ninja at Think Productive UK

In this 90 minute session from leading productivity and wellbeing training company Think Productive, you’ll be introduced to the 9 Characteristics of the Productivity Ninja.
Inspired by this framework, this interactive workshop will share a wide range practical habits, tactics and tools to help you get your best work done, but to also look after yourself and your colleagues at the same time.
During the session you’ll create a personal Productivity Ninja-style Action Plan to implement workflow and wellbeing changes in a way that works for you.

Part 3 – Thursday 30th September 2021 at 11am-12pm (60 mins)

Managing and Reversing Burnout

Leah SteeleIndependent Burnout and Resilience Mentor at Searching for Serenity

Part 3 of the series will cover recognition of when a person is in burnout, with reference to the WHO Maslach Burnout Inventory ICD-11. (Burnout is characterised by three dimensions: 1) feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion; 2) increased mental distance from one’s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one’s job; and 3) a sense of ineffectiveness and lack of accomplishment).

  • What our capacity is. How much more water a soggy sponge can soak up?
  • The convalescence period of dealing with becoming overloaded. We need to treat ourselves as if we had a brain injury. We know what we should be doing, but we don’t enact it.

Part 4 – Thursday 7th October 2021 at 11am-12.30pm (90 mins)

The Productivity Ninja’s Email Survival Guide

Lee CottierProductivity Ninja at Think Productive UK

You’ll learn how to get your backlogged inbox to zero (yes really!), and how to keep on top of it day to day – stress-free, effective emailing awaits you.
