Criminal Justice System – Capacity, Understanding the System, the Role of a Deputy / Case Manager and How Best to Support Your Client

BABICM has collaborated with the Professional Deputies Forum to bring BABICM and PDF members a free webinar.  Presenter Ian Brownhill at 39 Essex Chambers will provide an overview of the criminal justice system from arrest to sentencing, including  test of capacity where criminal law is concerned.

The session will last approx. an hour with a presentation of 45 mins, followed by Q&A

Ian has acted in Court of Protection cases at every level, including in the Supreme Court. Ian is instructed in the most serious cases which the Court of Protection hears, often before a Tier 3 (High Court) judge.
