There are council places available for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to assist in furthering BABICM aims and objectives for the future.  We welcome and encourage applications/nominations from the broadest possible range of people, recognising that this diversity brings huge value to the work we do. BABICM is dedicated to equality of opportunity and we actively promote a diverse and inclusive environment.

What does being a Council member entail?

The Council meets approximately 6 times per year and the meetings are mostly held virtually via video conference including 1 face-to-face strategy meeting to try and encourage attendance of as many as possible to all meetings. Expenses are paid and a policy is available on request. Each Council member is required to join one of the working group committees to take an active role in furthering that group’s objectives. Work is allocated within the groups and completed in between meetings.

What do I do now?

Complete the attached application/nomination form obtaining a proposer and a seconder (if nominating another party)who must also be members of BABICM and return it to the BABICM office by Friday 5th April 2024 on to Janette@babicm.org
