We are delighted to report that BABICM hosted another hugely popular and valuable New & Would Be training workshop on the 20th March 2019, in Gatwick.
The event was led by two experienced brain injury case managers, Vicki Gilman and Joanne Foster and left our delegates inspired.
The majority of delegates who attend our annual training workshop are new to brain injury and complex case management or are considering entering the profession and want to know more.
“Our new case managers Pam and Tracy will be there. Always a great day for anyone starting out in case management!”

BABICM’s ‘New & Would Be’ workshop is regarded by case management companies and our members as the definitive introductory course for new and aspiring brain injury & complex case managers.
We are incredibly proud of our annual two-part workshop course for new and would be brain injury case managers, where we can share priceless knowledge and experiences of specialist case managers with those start of their case management journey and also explain the BABICM competencies and standards – regarded as the definitive reference for professional behaviour, conduct and aptitude for brain injury case management within the sector and by litigators, deputies and client stakeholder groups.
Topics included:
- A look at the scope for brain injury case management.
- Identifying the short and long term goals for our clients.
- Small group work using ‘real life’ case material.
- Coping with the unknown.
We will announce the date of next year’s New & Would Be workshop in a few weeks.
In the meantime, please visit our Events page for our latest event updates.
