BABICM Categories and Benefits of Membership
CORPORATE MEMBER
This category of membership is open to all professional organisations, companies and groups with an interest in case management. It is not appropriate for case management companies, whose staff should join BABICM individually, as either Members, or Advanced members.
Benefits of Corporate Membership include – your organisation’s details are advertised on the BABICM website. Copies of newsletter online, discounted rates at BABICM events for up to 4 delegates. Priority sponsorship opportunities at events, access to members only section of BABICM website for news & relevant articles, access to other member details on the website for networking purposes.
MEMBER
Members will be all those individuals with an interest in brain injury case management. This would include clients, family members and other interested parties, as well as case managers who have not yet achieved advanced membership status.
Benefits of Membership include - copy of newsletter online, principles & guidelines of case management best practice, discounted rates at BABICM events, access to members only section of BABICM website for news & relevant articles, access to other member details on the website for networking purposes.
ADVANCED MEMBER
Advanced members will be case managers who have significant and relevant case management experience (2000 hours post qualification & registration working in their core profession – see details on application form; the Professional Body MUST be monitoring the registrants CPD, 2000 hours working in the field of brain injury, 2000 hours working as a case manager) All applicants for this category must be existing BABICM Members and acceptance into the Advanced membership category will be dependent on peer review assessment.
